Providing a Home for Every Pilgrim in Omkareshwar
Welcome to Bhakt Niwas Ashram Omkareshwar, where every stone tells a story of faith and every room resonates with the sound of the holy Narmada. Established over two decades ago, our ashram was built with a singular vision: to ensure that no devotee has to worry about comfort while they are on their spiritual quest to meet Lord Shiva at the Jyotirlinga temple.
Our ashram is not just a place of lodging; it is a sanctuary. We understand that a pilgrimage to Omkareshwar is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for many. Therefore, we have blended the traditional values of an Indian Ashram with the modern amenities required by the 21st-century traveler. From our pure Sattvic kitchen to our meditation-friendly corridors, every detail is crafted to keep your spiritual energy high.

In a city filled with dharamshalas, Bhakt Niwas Ashram stands out because of its commitment to hygiene and "Atithi Devo Bhava" (Guest is God). We are located just 500 meters from the main temple, making us the perfect base for elderly pilgrims who cannot walk long distances. Our staff is trained to assist in local yatra planning, ensuring you don't get overcharged for boat rides or rituals.
We take immense pride in our Narmada Parikrama support system. Pilgrims undertaking this sacred 1,312 km journey often find Bhakt Niwas as their most comfortable resting point. We provide special dietary meals and laundry services specifically tailored for long-distance yatris.
To become the global benchmark for spiritual hospitality, where luxury meets tradition, ensuring every devotee experiences divine peace without physical hardship.
To provide high-quality, affordable, and clean accommodation to pilgrims while promoting the Vedic lifestyle and preserving the sanctity of Omkareshwar.
At Bhakt Niwas, we believe that "Annam Brahma" (Food is God). Our in-house kitchen serves only pure vegetarian meals prepared with the highest standards of cleanliness. We avoid onion and garlic (on request) to help devotees maintain their 'Vrat' or 'Sadhana'. Each meal is prepared with fresh local produce and served with love.
As we move forward, we are integrating eco-friendly practices like solar water heating and waste management to ensure that our presence in Omkareshwar protects the holy Narmada river. When you stay with us, you contribute to a sustainable and spiritual ecosystem.
